Should you try CBD for Depression?
First, what is CBD? CBD or Cannabidiol is a compound found in the cannabis plant, used medicinally for pain relief and the reduction of epileptic seizures. While cannabidiol is mildly psychoactive (mind-altering), its physiological effects are very different from those of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the constituent of cannabis that is responsible for the mood-altering effects associated with its use as a recreational drug.
CBD, unlike THC, does not give you a psychoactive effect “a high”.
CBD can be derived from both the Hemp & Marijuana plant, however is most often from the Hemp plant.
